Activities and Social Programme

Central Language School's commitment is to help you to take full advantage of your time in Cambridge, enjoying your free time with other students from the school and also with local English people.

On most afternoons each week we organise activities, in the company of a teacher. We regularly plan:

- museum visits
- tea parties
- videos
- badminton
- playing games
- punting on the river
- Bible discussion
- international cooking
- train trip to the cathedral city of Ely
- going to the cinema
- cycling

Many of these activities are free, but for some there is a small charge.

At weekends we offer excursions, through a specialist tour operator. Typical tours include London, Oxford & Windsor, Stratford, Bath, York, Brighton, Canterbury, Nottingham, Salisbury and Stonehenge. There are also tours for long weekends to Scotland, the Lake District, Brussels, Amsterdam or Paris! We can also arrange for you to see a musical show in London, such as The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King or Les Misérables.
